Terms of Service

FirstUsers is a marketplace where founders ("Founders") pay professionals ("Testers") to use their products and provide structured feedback. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use FirstUsers.
• You must provide accurate account information and use the platform only for lawful purposes.

For Founders

• Launching a beta is free. Betas go live immediately, though we may review and remove tests that violate these terms. You are billed per approved submission: tester payout + 2% platform fee (launch pricing, may change with notice for future tests).
• You review each submission and approve or reject it. Approval creates a payment obligation on your account (non-refundable once approved) and releases the tester's payout.
• Rejections must be for genuine quality reasons — not because the feedback was critical of your product. Feedback you reject costs nothing; abusing rejection to consume feedback without paying leads to account suspension and collection of amounts owed.
• Feedback you receive is yours to use for improving your product.

For Testers

• Your profile must be accurate. Misrepresenting your role, company, or experience leads to account removal and forfeiture of pending payouts.
• Feedback must be honest, your own, and based on actually using the product. AI-generated or copied answers are grounds for rejection and removal.
• Payouts are released after the Founder approves your submission, sent to your PayPal or UPI within 48 hours of approval, in your local currency where conversion applies.
• You may owe taxes on earnings in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for declaring them.
• Treat products you test as confidential — don't share screenshots, recordings, or details publicly.

Platform

• We may use AI systems to assess feedback quality and generate insight reports; these assist human decisions and Founders make the final approval call.
• We may suspend accounts engaged in fraud, spam, harassment, or attempts to game payouts.
• The service is provided "as is" without warranties; our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the preceding 3 months.
• Disputes: contact us first — most issues are resolved by email. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Grievance redressal

Complaints about content, payments, or anything else on the platform: email hello@firstusers.live with the subject "Grievance". We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 15 days, in line with India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
